The national-level Chinese New Year open house will be held at Pavilion Bukit Bintang on Feb 7. A Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry statement said the gathering, which was expected to attract 50,000 people, would be in the form of a street festival with the theme “Unity through Festivity.”

Swami says :

"Unity through stupidity" will be a better theme... Get stuck in a fucked up jam, pay 10 bucks for parking and eat 2 roti jala with kuah Kacang and some mandarin oranges?

They say:

The site was chosen due to its prominence in the city, which attracted many local and foreign tourists, with the area also easily accessible by public transport.

Swami says:

You want to attract tourists and all... ok understandable... I am cool...

Easily accessible by public transport. . .hmmm. . . Event is from 8.30 from 10.30. . . And then there are performances n shit...
